A fine has also been kept in some places. In New York, $50 is fined for breaking a bylaw that prohibits the use of cell phones at all indoor performances.



Becoming the part of the problem or the solution is solely the person’s choice. If people themselves become considerate enough than there would be no jamming devices, no more “no cell phone” signs, and thus we can see more laws being passed to punish the users who do not obey the rules.



One more thing that you can do is to activate the voice mail option in your phone. People can leave a message for you when you do not answer the phone. Do return the call. It is inconsiderate not to return the call the same as it is to take a call public place.
