Alcatel-Lucent announced that Vodafone Netherlands has deployed a network-based Alcatel-Lucent enterprise solution, which will enable Vodafone Netherlands to expand the features of its Wireless Office service.
The company has offered network integration services, including design and engineering support, while the enterprise solution is being offered to Vodafone. Vodafone’s new Wireless Office service is basically a network-based IP Centrex solution, which will allow business customers to use mobile phones to access communications features through fixed telephones lines in a company’s offices. Additionally, the solution will also include receptionist switchboard and handle calls to a company’s prime number, geographical numbers (fixed numbers), company numbers (088) and Call Management Software for easy call management by end users.
Vodafone has introduced its Wireless Office service, which will not only provide the functionality of fixed communications but also the flexibility of mobile communications.
