In a quiet move Apple has released an online statement that they have released one more update for the AirPort wireless networking system.(Apple’s own Wi-Fi networking system)
This new upgrade Apple claims will improve the compatibility of the systems but what these compatibility issues were has not been stated.
It is important to mention a slice of history here when the AirPort wireless system was released by Steve Jobs in Macworld Expo there has been a bit of controversy surrounding this wireless system.
When two researchers came with a claim that the laptop wireless security had critical holes Apple denied the charges vehemently saying that the researchers had used third party wireless driver but after a month Apple released patches aiming at covering the critical holes in the security and apple said that it had itself found these holes.
After this the researchers again found a critical hole which was again patched up by Apple.
Now this latest update without explanation has again led to people questioning the security issues of the wireless system of which company’s track record is bad.
