The Ottawa based company has launched the BelAir100T, which has multi-service switched networking capabilities in a compact form factor for public access and 4.9GHz public safety applications. The product is seamlessly integrated with the company’s comprehensive portfolio and also utilizes the full range of BelAir radio modules, BelView NMS network management and the BelAirOS operating system. BelAir100T Node bridges the gap between city and public safety wireless networks.
The BelAir100T supports 4.9 HGz public safety services in the 5.0 /10.0/ 20.0 MHz channels to provide service for variety of devices. The BelAir100T is basically designed for municipal and public safety networks deployments. It also delivers superior transmit and receive performance for better range. The networking capabilities of layer 2 provides the QoS, VLAN, network security and traffic management capabilities for transporting mission critical, time sensitive applications including voice and video.
BelAir delivers industry first: a modular design, which can be configured with radios from BelAir’s patented portfolio or from certified third party suppliers, all under the control of the BelAirOS and BelViewNMS. The BelAir100T provides uninterrupted service as users move throughout the wireless mesh network.
