Cisco has added one more new member in its next generation wireless product with embeddable integrated 802.11n solution. The product is specifically designed to combine superior wireless performance and reliability with simplicity of deployment.

Cisco’s next-generation Unified Wireless Network includes the modular Cisco Aironet 1250 Series access point, the first enterprise-class 11n access point available on the market and the 48 Gbps scalable Cisco Catalyst 6500-based wireless local-area network controller system, and wired and wireless services with the Unified Wireless Network Release 4.2. 18 09 07 008 Cisco’s new Aironet 1250 Series access point is the company’s first Wi-Fi-certified 802.11n draft 2.0 access point. Cisco’s next-generation wireless products supporting 802.11n capabilities include the following:

1) The product is specifically designed to support either a gradual increase or immediate large-scale 802.11n deployment. With the Cisco’s Wireless Service Module (WiSM) for the Catalyst 6500, customers can add controller capacity as it is required. With the Catalyst 6500 family, Cisco wireless customers can also take advantage of integrated wired and wireless security, high availability, and application intelligence for both wired and wireless users.

2) Cisco has delivered enhanced mobility services through the new Cisco Unified Wireless Network Software version 4.2. These include enterprise wireless mesh, access point monitoring and migration tools, and unified wired and wireless guest access. Additionally, these services incorporate voice-ready wireless enhancements, survivable remote access points and integrated spectrum analysis.

3)Cisco Secure Services Client enhancements focuses on simplified enterprise provisioning of a single client security and management framework. Version 5.0 provides a greatly improved user interface offering “2 Click Connect” capabilities.
