According to ppadala, in order to avail video programmers on phone lines, AT&T is developing there phone lines. During its earlier phase in a few parts of South California, a service known as U-verse TV will be available. It is interesting to know that channel lineups are as same as the customary cable as well as dish TV. On the other hand, AT&T is declaring that they are at the same level with their arch rivals, i.e. cable.

To make things more interesting, AT&T is also claiming other attractive features, such as quick channel change, three set-top boxes, a digital video recorder, video-on-demand, and an interactive program guide. It also offers an interesting feature of picture-in-picture. According to this feature, viewers would be able to surf channels without switching channels. Thus, it seems that AT&T is really offering something worthwhile!
