The Swedish telecom giant, Ericsson is planning to offer Turner Broadcasting International’s news and entertainment content on mobile phones. Ericsson announced that the company has partnered with Turner Broadcasting System to develop Turner’s Internet, broadcast news and entertainment content for mobile devices. The company will provide hosting, content management and deliver technology for Turner properties like CNN International, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim on mobile phones. According to Casey Harwood, senior vice president of digital media at Turner Broadcasting, the company will deliver full portfolio of solutions from SMS to mobile television. Firstly, the service will roll out in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
