The park that served as the Continental Army’s encampment will now provide cell phone guides to visitors. This free service will allow visitors to access mini-lessons ranges from the Thomas Fleming’s description of Gen. George Washington’s political life to park ranger Ajena Roger’s tale of life as Washington’s slave.
According to Park spokesperson, approximately 3,613 calls have been placed the first month. It means that 120 calls per day.
Visitors can easily call into the service and then dial the number of tour whatever they want.
According to the National Park Service, they are watching whether this project will fit on the system of other parks.
