After failing to reach their much hyped target of selling 6 million units of N-Gage gaming phones, Nokia is finally planning to bid farewell to the N-Gage gaming phones after meeting just a third of its target.
After a lot of complaints of the basic N-Gage model, even a much improved version of the N-Gage that was launched later, called the N-Gage QD, could not shoot up the sales. Even though Nokia plans to continue selling the units in limited numbers, word is that everything is going to slowly wind up.
The failure of the Nokia phone has not, by any means, stopped other companies from making gaming phones. Other companies are still making gaming phones like LG has come out with their gaming phone, the SV360.
