There were several cool and well-featured mobile phones shown in the LA CTIA wireless show. Here is the list of few smartphones and mobile devices:
1)Cingular 3125: The Cingular 3125 is an improved version of HTC SRTtrk, which has 64 megs flash memory and 1100 mAh Lithium Ion battery. It is a quad band GSm phone with EDGE for data. The Cingular has Bluetooth 1.2 with 1.3 MP camera and color display acts for view finder. The cost price of this smartphone is not so expensive; it is just only $149.
2) HTC TyTN: HTC TyTN is younger brother of Windows Mobile 5 Pocket PC phones. TyTN is coming next month with the name of Cingular 8525. It features the US 3G on 850 and 1900MHz bands as well as it features with 2100MHz 3G European band.
Cingular is only offering GSM with 3G. The TyTN has a 400MHz Samsung CPU, 2MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b/g, a microSD memory card slot, a 2.8″ QVGA display and HTC’s signature side-slider QWERTY keyboard.
3)PPC6800 and SMT5800: Next year Sprint and Verizon customers will able to get new Pocket PC and MS smartphone. The next generation Pocket PC phone PPC 6800 is coming by the end of next year and MS smartphone SMT 5800 is also available. The PPC 6800 would be smaller, thinner and lighter than Verizon XV6700 and PPC-6700 on Sprint.
While SMT 5800 is about same size and compact as T-Mobile SDA with side-sliding QWERTY keyboard.
4) Palm Treo 750: Vodafone’s Palm Treo 750 has a quad-band GSM radio and 3G on both US and European bands. The Treo 750 has no external antenna and it is little smaller than Treo 700. The camera of Treo 750 is improved from the previous version.
5) i-mate SPL: Now, i-Mate is giving their SPL in impressive Motorola SLVR. This smartphone is slim with flat keyboard. The i-mate SPL supports WM 5 with AKU3 and has miniSD expansion slot, 128 megs of ROM and 64 megs RAM, 2MP camera and Bluetooth 1.2. It is a good choice for T-Mo customers because of its feature of tri-band.
6) i-mate JAQ: The i-mate JAQ is a WM5 Pocket PC Phone Edition which supports e-mail. It has a QWERTY keyboard. It is not better than Treo and iPAQ but still it has quad band with GSM carrier. It has a miniSD slot rather than full SD card slot.
7) Samsung i320: the Samsung i320 WM5 MS Smartphone is thin, sexy phone offers you GSM with QWERTY keyboard.
8) HTC S620 / Excalibur / T-Mobile Dash: The HTC S620 is super slim, light and small phone. It offers you QWERTY keyboard and landscape 2.4″ QVGA display, which is really sharp and bright. It is quad band GSM phone with EDGE, which also supports 1.3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi 802.11b/g and a 201MHz TI OMAP processor with 128 megs flash ROM.
