It is landmark achievement for Taiwan based mobile phone maker, High Tech Computer Corp (HTC) that it has sold 800,000 units of its flagship Touch phone launched in Europe and Asia in June.
Apple has also sold one million its iPhone in the three months after its launch in the United States. HTC’s Touch phone is based on Microsoft’s Windows Mobile Operating system. 
France based Telecom firm Orange is the first operator to sell the phone in the UK, France in the U.K., France, Romania and Poland.
HTC’s Touch phone runs on a 3.5G/HSDPA network and based on High-Speed Downlink Packet Access (HSDPA) networks. HTC provides high-speed data downloads for mobile phone users, which allows users to easily access e-mails, music and video content. HTC’s Touch phone comes with third-generation (3G) connectivity, which supports wireless multimedia application and satellite navigation. HTC is bringing three more new devices in the market:
1) The HTC Shift: The new small mobile computer is based runs on the Microsoft Windows Vista platform and has push email service
2) The HTC S730: HTC has designed the handset for both consumer and business users
3) The P6500: HTC has launched the first phone for the business market.
