Mobile phones used by Iraqis



Now, kids of Iraq want Apache, the mobile phone they named after an American military helicopter. In this series, the next mobile phone is hipness comes a Humvee followed by the Afendi and a sturdy, rounded Nokia known as the Allawi.



Iraqis share their text messages and images on their phones. Even cell phone in Baghdad practically shouts commentary about Saddam Hussein. Mobile phones are status symbol for developing countries. Moreover, Iraqis are using mobile phones for terror and threat.



Mobile industry is booming industry for Iraq. According to State Department, there were 7.1 million cell phone subscribers and approximately 1.4 million subscribers were two years ago. Some of Iraqis are spending approx $800 on phones on mobile phones. They use mobile phones to communicate and to explode bombs. Iraqis believe on their phones and try to avoid danger through their mobile phones.



The price of mobile phones is quite high in Iraq. People sell their old handsets nearly in same price of new mobile. The cost of prepaid card is $10 and $20.
