Leap Wireless International Inc is about to begin cricket service in EI Paso. In conjunction with Alaska Native Broadband 1 License LLC, LEAP expects to reach 1.6 million customers in the South east market and 28.5 million nationally.
Doug Hutcheson, the chief executive officer of LEAP said that the launch of Cricket service in EI Paso, Texas and Las Cruces underscored their strategic growth initiative of expanding their market clusters to better serve the company’s present and probable customer base.
The news resulted in LEAP’s share rose by 33 cents, in the mid-afternoon trading it reached $36.01.
