The first phase of wireless networking is over in Madison and Madison residents (as well as the visitors) can now comfortably access wireless Internet in the heart of the city and some parts of the campus area. The network in the city is been installed by CellNet Technology.
Presently, the 10-square mile spread wireless network will be completely free of service to all who want to access the network.
If the first phase goes all right at the end of April ISPs will provide access to the network for a monthly fee.
