With virtually every American having a cell-phone these days, the companies are now selling the idea of having two phone - one for business and one for personal use. Mind you, many are buying this theory and has effected into a jump into mobile sales.
According to the research firm Compete, about 16% of wireless customers have two mobile phones - one for personal use and one for business.
Compete analyst Adam Guy says;
It was near zero five years ago.
Chris Murray, an executive of VoIP provider Vonage says;
There are frankly times when I have calls on both ears.
This trend is being given a big shot as companies are giving away mobiles and PDAs to employees and restricting them for use in the business only.
In my opinion, only one mobile was enough to destroy your private space and now having two will only make you even more getable.
However, this may have some merit in the flip side as your boss can’t call you up when you are officially on a holiday!
