The software giant, Microsoft has unveiled the new wireless keyboard and mouse configuration, named Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000. The desktop combo is made up of the company’s Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000, and the Natural Wireless Laser Mouse 6000.
The Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 is good combination of an ergonomic design with 2.4 GHz technology, which offers a flawless wireless connection It has a two color battery life indicator, which warns users to replace their batteries. Additionally, the keyboard includes following features:
1) It has easy-to-access forward and back buttons.
2) A slider to zoom in and out when navigating large documents or images
3) It has customized hot keys like mail, Web/home and search.
4) It has ‘gull wing’ design, which brings the keys closer to the user’s fingers and reduces reach and unnecessary motion while encouraging a more natural position.
5) It has an optional palm rest, which provides a 7-degree reversed slope to encourage better arm and wrist alignment.
Microsoft’s Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 software includes the Instant Viewer, which displays all open windows at once, so users can easily switch between applications for productivity and Magnifier, which delivers real-time magnification on screen. The natural mouse design elements includes a vertical right slide, which allows users to rest on the side of the hand rather then using their thumb to rotate mouse ball for vertical position.
