Mobile phone used in China



The mobile industry is growing in China. It is expected that the production of mobile phones will exceed 400 million this year.



According to Wang Bingke, deputy director of the Economic Structure Reform and Economy Operation Department under the Ministry of Information Industry, Chinese mainland’s mobile phone production is exceeding by 400 million sets, which will be 50% of total mobile phone output.



The production of Chinese mainland is 210 million sets in the first half of 2006, which is 64% more than last year.
