The RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N Routers have successfully passed the Intel’s certification for Next Generation Wireless-N. The RangeMax NEXT Wireless-N Router enables family members to connect to multiple Internet services and online media at Gigabit speeds from devices. Users can download movies, stream music and also makes VoIP calls and browse the web simultaneously without the usual disturbance of interruptions and freezes. NETGEAR’s RangeMax Wireless-N Routers (WNR834B and WNR854T) have successfully passed the certification process ensuring compatibility and interoperability with Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N. The RangeMax NEXT wireless product family provides the security and also supports following features: 1) NAT and SPI firewalls 2) Touchless WiFi Security 3) 64- and 128-bit WEP encryption, 4) Wi-Fi Protected Access Pre-Shared Key (WPA-PSK and WPA2-PSK) 5) Denial of Service (DoS) attack protection 6) Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDS) 7) Exposed Host (DMZ) for secure gaming NETGEAR has also introduced the EVA700 Digital Entertainer with Intel Viiv technology-verified Digital Media Adapter (DMA) to combine home PCs with home entertainment systems.
