
The leader in convergence solutions for carriers and enterprises, NewStep Networks, Inc., and a global technology provider of VoWLAN handsets and solutions, Paragon Wireless, announced that both companies have completed their interoperability certification for Paragon’s latest GSM/VoWLAN dual-mode handset hipi 2300 with an integrated Voice Call Continuity (VCC) client.
The hipi-2300 is Paragon Wireless’ newest addition to its Microsoft Windows Mobile dual-mode handset technology. The hipi-2300 utilizes the Paragon’s proven VoWLAN/GSM dual-mode technology and also includes the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system to further expand the usability and functionality of this extremely versatile smartphone.
NewStep is actively engaged in partnerships with various complementary handset manufacturers and other client suppliers to expand the market, so that operator around the globe can utilize their The joint venture is based on NewStep’s interoperability program, an initiative, which fulfills the demands of market.
