Sierra Wireless MP modem are especially designed for use in the public safety, filed service and transportation industry. These modems are easily vehicle mounted and provide consistent wide area wireless data communication. Additionally, Sierra Wireless MP rugged modems provide vehicle information with an integrated independent GPS receiver. It allows enterprise to increase security for their employees and also enables asset tracking.

The MP 595 GPS provides connectivity to EV-DO Revision A networks. Sierra’s MP 595 GPS offers faster data rates then previous models with peak of up to 3.1 Mbps on the downlink and up to 1.8 Mbps on the uplink. The modem allows you to send large files like photos, videos through your wireless connection and also enables you to enable applications like real time video monitoring . Even it also improves the personal security of the vehicle operator. The MP 595 is fully compatible with EV-DO Release 0 networks and CDMA 1X networks.
While the MP 875 GPS is especially designed for use on HSDPA networks and offers connectivity in all three MTS frequency bands. It supports peak data speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps. The MP 875 is fully compatible with EDGE and GPRS in all four frequency bands, which is used in worldwide.
