Noticing competition in the coming days, Sony Ericsson has decided to launch five new mobile phones to lure the customers. The leading mobile phone manufacturer Sony Ericsson has also declared that it will sell these phones during the year-end holiday shopping season, when sales peak. With five new phones, Sony Ericsson feels confident to challenge its competitors. Off five phones, two are Walkman phones, two flip phones and the last phone is designed for the Chinese market by adding Chinese-character handwriting with it.



Sony Ericsson has got good response for its Walkman music and Cybershot camera brands from Sony for music and camera phones. The walkman phone W710 of Sony Ericsson possesses all the features to lure the customers. Its cost is around $250 and $380 before subsidies and local taxes. Another Walkman phone is the W850, a slider model. It downloads music from the third generation mobile phone networks. Its cost is more than $380 euros.



The Z550 model and Z710 business phone are two flip phones of Sony Ericsson. These phones have megapixel camera, color screen and Web browser. For Chinese market, Sony Ericsson has developed the M608c which will be released in the third quarter.
