Now, mobile phone user can watch the clips of their favorite TV serials on their mobile phones. Star Mobile Entertainment has launched the ‘PLUS’ service for mobile phones, so that user can watch their favorite TV serial while on the move.
Star Mobile Entertainment has launched the new service, named PLUS, which allow mobile user to catch up 24 hours TV channe, search for information, shop, and go on the bank services and access entertainment and information on their mobile phones. User can download the PLUS mobile service on their mobile phones. It has an easy entertainment point-and-click navigation, which allow user to send SMS or dial to the entertainment service and watch delayed TV clips and download a range of rich content on mobile phones.
This service is available on GPRS or WAP enabled mobile phones. Currently, the PLUS application is available on 120 mobile phones. Additionally, the PLUS is offering a range of information services is partnerships with brands, including banking services from HDFC bank and travel and ticketing services by MakeMyTrip.com and TravelGuru.com. PLUS also allow user to view Yellow pages information from Infomedia Group; music content from Universal Music; design tips from Better Interiors; information about cars from Overdrive and gadget news from T3 and audiophiles can get advice from AVMAX. Plus offers popular content from Star Plus, Star Gold, and Star One.
According to Viren Popli, Senior Vice President, Star Mobile Entertainment, GPRS mobile user can access a wide range of video content and services like Yellow Pages, banking, travel, shopping. Even user would be able to preview ringtones, wallpapers, games and also be a part of the ‘PLUS Community’.
