According to British Medical Journal’s website, few UK driver uses seat belts while driving. What’s more, the SUV drivers in London use cell phone while driving.



This study was done by monitoring 38000 cars and approximately 3000 4×4 vehicles in Hammersmith, west London. Almost one driver in six drivers was not wearing seat belts and one in 40 is illegally using cell phone while driving.



The study shows that SUV drivers feel safer, so they take risks while driving.



The SMMT published that industry is encouraging drivers to drive all types of vehicles safely called Drive Green, Drive Safely. They will teach how to hold with rules by following simple reminders, tips and hints.



The copies of this report sent to publishers for distributing to doctors across the UK. The booklet has already been widely distributed to safety and government bodies in Britain
