Teleflip has unveiled an extraordinary new free service, named flipMail to deliver e-mail to any US mobile phone. Now more than 2.5 billion mobile phone users would be able to receive their existing e-mails on their current and regular mobile phone.
The company is delivering the service to every mobile carrier without paying any charge. Users can download the software on their mobile phones. Teleflip’s new patent-pending flipMail service allows to receive and reply their existing emails from any POP, IMAP or webmail e-mail account, personal or business, directly on every existing cell phone in the world. Users can use this service on any mobile handset through every individual carrier. The Teleflip technology has following features:
1) No Internet connectivity
2) No Java or BREW application to download or WAP service to use
3) No special handset required to use flipMail!
Teleflip is the first service, which is available through the SMS channel and without the need to use a mobile Internet connection to access email. The flipMail is 100 percent spam free, which enables customers receive e-mails from only those contacts they choose. Users can enter their e-mail address and cell phone number only once and the activation process is complete. The flipMail users can add all the personal contacts according to their wish, as well as manage the length of each e-mail message and turn the service on or off. Users would also be able to manage the time of day to receive messages, and to set up their accounts to receive calendar alerts and online content.
