Nokia8800 GoldIf you’ve ever wondered what someone like King Tut might have used in the 21st century for communications this would be it. This phone by Nokia seems to be fit for a King.

Here is the Nokia 8800 and it is in gold. Whether the phone is gold-plated, a real deal or just a paint job but the phone really looks king-like. It is not known if this gold version is supported by Nokia but it is selling for a whopping $9,999.

The good: It has distinct look; durable stainless steel shell; scratch-resistant screen; two bundled batteries; solid slide mechanism.

The bad: Too heavy considering the weight and also the price; has a cramped four-way Navi pad with center key; mono headset; slow bootup; a low-resolution camera; and a short battery life.

The bottom line: Buy it if you have big bucks to unload or want to be among the very few to flash a premium-priced phone.
