The Guinness World Records is one of the most coveted recognition for anyone or any company. At least for me its a one of the most prestigious records in this world. This time, Electronics giant, Samsung has found its place for its place in the forthcoming Guinness World Records 2008.

And guess what! It’s not just one or two, but for three of its devices who have been acclaimed for its uniqueness and ability to make its mark in the world of mobile phones. Samsung mobile phones have won the Guinness World Records 2008 in three different categories.

First is Samsung SGH-U100, which is identified as the world’s slimmest phone by the 2008 edition of the Guinness World Records. The device is just only 5.9mm thick. The other device, which won the recognition is the Samsung SCH-B600 with 10-million pixel camera for the highest photo resolution in the mobile phone.

And now, finally, the SGH-Z370 handset which measures 8.4 mm thick has won the title of the world’s slimmest third generation (3G) phone.

Whats more, the celebrations for Samsung is not ended here only, the company has received gold pixel award at the iF design awards for its upcoming touch-screen Samsung Croix mobile phone.
