Are you crazy fan of comic books? Then there is good news for you because now you can read comic books on your mobile phones also.

Kansas city based uClick Company has launched the first mobile comic book, ‘Thunder Road’ in US. With this new service, customers can select wide range of books from well known names like ‘Bone’ and ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ to upcoming books like crime noirish ‘Umbra’ and Hindi book ‘Devi’.

The vice president of product development for uClick, Jeff Webber stated that Universal Press Syndicate, the distributor of the digital arm of newspaper has declined to disclose the revenue figures and informed that there are around 55,000 monthly readers, including free trail users.

According to uClick officials, the company has about 55,000 subscribers a month in the first year of offering its GoComic service. With Geocomics service, subscribers can view one comic book at a time in panel. Users can also scroll across larger pictures through button of mobile phone.

uClick believes that with the advanced features of service, users will not only subscribe the book but also buy the whole issues over the phone. Verizon Wireless offers GoComics for $4.49 a month, while AT&T and Sprint offer it for $3.99 a month. uClick also offers other subscription for Japanese comic, named Manga.

Now, other company like Apple is also planning to bring HarperCollins’ printed material on iPhones.
