New Zealand research lab developed a technology which will wirelessly power heart monitoring machines, and other “internal” devices. Telemetry Research co-founder and chief executive Simon Malpas says almost 25,000 people every year die in U.S. But he says they could have survived if they used a heart-assist device like this. And that’s the area companies marketing executive actually are eyeing at. The research lab also plans to sell devices for wireless monitoring of heart and brain activity.
