Pantech, a Korean handset maker, have announced that they will be launching a video telephony-enabled phone: IM-8700. The IM-8700 phone will feature an outstanding 10 frames per second (fps) imaging speed, on a 2.2-inch screen. The phone has a 2 mega pixel camera.
The handset will also offer an Auto Rotary Telephony function that will recognise the user’s location. When the user receives a call, the camera or the earpiece will automatically turn towards the user for his convenience.
These slide-type phones will be sold in Korea under the SKY brand for $600.
