Both the BlackBerry 8820 and the Blackberry 8310 smartphones are GPS capable. The BlackBerry 8820 smartphone comes with voice and data connectivity through EDGE and GPRS, Wi-Fi connectivity as well as number of location based applications. The other features of Blackberry 8820 are given below:

1) The device comes with a navigation application, called WayFinder, so that users can find out pinpoints and routes.
2) The BlackBerry 8820 is compatible with 802.11 a/b/g Wi-Fi standards, which allows users to enable data access over enterprise WiFi connections.
3) The device comes with Roxio Media Manager for easy search, viewing and organizing functions of PC media files.
4) The BlackBerry comes with full QWERTY keyboard and large bright display
5) The smart phone includes RIM’s latest media player enhancements, a microSD/microSDHC memory slot expandable up to 32GB, and support for polyphonic, mp3, and MIDI ring tones.
The BlackBerry device comes with Internet service and seamlessly switches between cellular and Wi-Fi networks to allow users access e-mail, Inter Messaging, organizer, web browsing and other mobile data applications.
While the other Blackberry Curve 8310 is a feature-rich, multimedia and GPS enabled smartphone. The BlackBerry 8820 carries a price tag of Rs.31,990, while the BlackBerry 8310 smartphone costs Rs.24,990.
