After launching MySpace and eBay service on their mobile handsets, Vodafone is planning to offer YouTube videos on their mobile handsets.

Recently, Vodafone has signed an agreement with YouTube to offer YouTube videos on mobile handsets. This service will allow mobile phone users to access a version of the YouTube service directly from the Vodafone live mobile Internet portal. Initially, this service would be launched in Europe.
Under this service, YouTube will provide new videos and allow customers to forward the link of their favorite videos to their friends and family. Even users can upload their own content from their mobile phones and search across multiple categories.
According to Steve Chen, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer for YouTube, this partnership will allow YouTube customers to share their content on mobile phones also.
