
Yahoo! is coming out with new software for high-end mobile phones. It is planning to unveil a new software version for smartphones, which will run Microsoft Corp.’s Windows Mobile operating system.
The company is providing many online services in different mobile versions. Yahoo! Go mobile software includes e-mail search, photo address book as well access to news, sports and finance. However, it was available only for certain Nokia phones, which run the Symbian operating system.
With Yahoo!’s new software service, users can automatically upload photos taken from their camera phones into their Yahoo photos account. Supporetd Windows mobile smartphones include Motorola Inc.’s popular Q phone and several Palm Treo phones also.
