Adobe is planning to include Flash video in mobile phones. Adobe announced that the company would include video in Flash Lite3, the next version of the Flash runtime environment for mobile phones. The Flash Lite will simplify the process of creating and distributing mobile video and it will allow mobile phone operators to use a fragmented set of special tools. Users can use the same video tools for delivering web content as well as for mobile content. The updated Flash Lite will enable carriers and content companies to use the same Flash server for mobile as for Web video as well as the same streaming protocol and the same encoding tools and processes. Users can present the Flash Lite videos in various forms, including streaming video, downloadable clips and screen savers, and within Flash-based applications. Additionally, it easily integrates with software for using video, like channel sectors and play, reverse and fast -forward controls. It includes both Flash Lite and FlashCast, a client server platform, which allow carriers to send content to mobile phones in the background, so that subscriber can use anywhere, when they are outside the network’s coverage area. According to Anup Murarka, director of technical marketing for mobile and devices at Adobe, the Flash Lite will make easy and fast to show videos on mobile phones.
