Now you can close your all PC documents through your mobile phone. WebEx, the software vendor has launched a new version of its PCNow application to add support for data access through mobile phones. The PCNow application allows users to securely access data from any computer and network resources through a browser and Internet connection through devices like PDAs, smartphones and BlackBerry devices with supported browsers to access the application. The PCNow 3.0 will allow users not only access to a remote desktop search, Outlook contacts, calendar and e-mail access but also allow to access several types of Office and other documents. It also allows optimizing content for server side to view on small form-factor displays like phone and PDAs to perform tasks like remote printing and file sharing. Additionally, it also offers low cost calling anywhere in the world from a mobile phone. WebEx applications combine both synchronous and asynchronous collaboration capabilities and enable users to use web to interact with their partners, customers and co-workers. According to Jack Chawla, senior director of product management, WebEx, the PCNow supports both phone-to-PC and PC-to-phone access and it helps businesses to work anywhere, anytime and from any device.
