A leading provider of mobile mapping and location applications, LocatioNet Systems Ltd., has partnered with the provider of the world’s highest-resolution imagery and geospatial information products, DigitalGlobe to adds DigitalGlobe’s global satellite imagery in its amAze mobile service. This joint venture will offer services to mobile phone users and generate revenue from the emerging mobile advertisement model. This would be the first time that worldwide voice-guided GPS navigation is enabled over high-resolution satellite imagery and aerial photos on mobile phones through external or internal GPS receiver. Now amAze mobile service will provide services to any regular, Java enabled mobile phone with navigation and local search information over maps and DigitalGlobe satellite imagery in Europe and North America. Users can receive full voice-guided navigation feature through any Bluetooth GPS device. AmAze support more than 100 Java enabled mobile phones.
