India based mobile-commerce solution provider will develop mobile payment suite for US market. The leading provider and operator of the leading platform for the delivery of diversified financial services to kiosks, ATMs, Infonox has partnered with the leading mobile-commerce solutions provider of India, PayMate to develop mobile payment products for the US market. The company is planning to support mobile devices like mobile phones and PDAs on its platform. Initially, the multi-application includes all versions transactional services like bill payment, money transfer (cross-border) and POS payments at merchant locations. These products will include transactional services as well as variety of Business services and System Management Services on the mobile channel. The company has already certified its interfaces into processors of ATM, PAS Debit, Credit cards, Checks, Money Transfer, Bill Payment, Prepaid cards, Gift cards and other transaction through its PCI/SAS70 compliant data-centers. According to Safwan Shah, President of Infonox, the company is ready to offer Transactional, Business and System Management Services with the partnership of Paymate. These mobile applications would be based on standards; like J2ME, BREW, Windows Mobile and will run over SMS, GPRS and CDMA based protocols.
