The world’s leading lifestyle portal, MySpace has partnered with Canada’s largest wireless voice and data communications services provider, Rogers Wireless, to offer MySpace functionality on selected mobile phones of Roger Wireless. This is the company’s first mobile partnership in Canada, which allows Roger Wireless customers to access MySpace Mobile’s rich tool set, including the ability to edit MySpace profiles, view and add friends, post comments and blogs, send and receive MySpace messages from their mobile phones. MySpace Mobile on Roger Wireless provides variety of features on mobile devices, which are given below: 1) Post Comments or Blog Entries: Now, Rogers customers will be able to post new blog entries, update existing blogs, and make comments to other users’ blogs or MySpace profile pages. 2) Search for Friends: MySpace Mobile allows Rogers customers to search new friends and allows them to “click-to-add” friends into their network. Roger customers also have the ability to view the friend list of any MySpace profile. 3) Respond to Mail: Rogers customers can send messages to their MySpace friends as well as view and manage their friend requests. 4) Update/Edit Profile: MySpace Mobile allows users to update and edit their MySpace profile on-the-go in real time. 5) View Bulletins: Rogers customers would be able to view bulletins sent from their friends on their MySpace profile pages. Roger and Myspace will charge a $4.74 as monthly fee to access the service. Users, who will sign up before October 31, can access service free for the first six months.
